THE NEWS SERVICE OF FLORIDA provides journalists, lobbyists, government officials and other civic leaders with high-quality, comprehensive, objective information about the activities of state government year-round. We’re a five-person, independent, privately-owned wire service, led by David Royse, one of the Capitol press corps’ most respected veterans.
OUR COVERAGE stands out in the modern climate of journalism because we strive to keep it straight, objective and accurate. We earn constant praise from our customers because we’re always hustling to anticipate what they’re most going to need to know, and get to the source of the information fast. We’re news people, but we try to think like policy makers and politicians – partly because it helps our journalism, but mostly because it helps our subscribers.
