Firm in Needelman case based on ‘smoke and mirrors?’

When BlueWare said last year it would move from Michigan to Melbourne, Gov. Rick Scott hailed the announcement as “a great win for the Space Coast, as well as for the entire state.” Florida also promised more than $1 million in economic incentives.

But last week, Mitch Needelman, a former state lawmaker and former Brevard County clerk of courts,  was arrested on bribery charges stemming from his dealings with BlueWare. And now, as Florida Today reported, there are questions about whether BlueWare even had a “core business.” Here is a link to the story.
