Jeb Bush: won’t rule out presidential run in ’16, but not gonna declare today either

Former Gov. Jeb Bush said Monday that the 2016 presidential race is “way off into the future,” but for at least the thousandth time deflected the question of whether he’ll run.

He said he wont’ rule it out, but “I’m not going to declare today either,” Bush told Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today Show this morning.

Bush is doing a round of promotional interviews for his book “Immigration Wars.” Bush also criticized President Obama for over-hyping on the sequestration issue.

“The president kind of led the charge to say widows and orphans are going to be out on the street,” Bush said. “I think it was oversold. I think people are just numb by this dysfunction and they watch it with their peripheral vision.”
