Former Gov. Charlie Crist said in a deposition he didn’t know Jim Greer was taking a share of donations, but lobbyist Brian Ballard says Crist told him he was OK with the arrangement. Crist, when shown Ballard’s deposition, said “I don’t believe it’s truthful.”
The AP reports on Ballard’s deposition in the case. The trial of Greer, on charges of essentially duping the GOP out of money by paying a company he owned for fundraising, begins Monday in Orlando.
