Herald: GOP staff, legislative staff, operatives, discussed districts extensively

The Miami Herald is reporting tonight that despite a new constitutional amendment that was aimed at reducing political influence on the drawing of political boundaries, there appears to have been quite a bit of it. The Herald has a lot of emails from a who’s who of GOP political operatives emailing back and forth with party officials, Republican lawmakers and their aides throwing around possible district maps and discussing their merits.
