Mack tries to help campaign backer in lame-duck session
After losing his bid for the U.S. Senate, Florida Republican Congressman Connie Mack is headed out of office in January.
But USA Today reports that Mack is pushing a bill in the lame-duck session of Congress that would benefit a New York venture capitalist who was a major supporter of Mack’s campaign — and of the failed re-election campaign of Mack’s wife, U.S. Rep.
