Bradshaw to work with Barbour instead of Romney
Veteran GOP strategist Sally Bradshaw will work with Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour as he decides whether to run for president – not Mitt Romney as she did in 2008, National Journal reported over the weekend. Bradsaw, a top advisor of former Gov. Jeb Bush is seen as an important ally for Republicans who want to win Floirda. “I have a great deal of respect for Gov. Romney, but I have known Haley Barbour for years and know he will be a bold leader guided by principle in the face of challenges,’’ Bradshaw told the National Journal’s Beth Reinhard. “His work for Mississippi during (Hurricane) Katrina is an example of this. I believe he is the best man for the job.”
